Calhoun County

Calhoun County, strategically located along I-94 midway between Chicago and Detroit, experienced the state's second highest population growth rate in 1995 (2.9%). The city of Battle Creek is the corporate headquarters of the global cereal producer, The Kellogg Company, and Fort Custer Industrial Park, the largest in the state at over 2,600 acres. There are also several automotive and plastic parts manufacturers located in Calhoun County. The Eaton Paving Ground is located in the quaint historic city of Marshall.  The city of Albion is home to Albion College, part of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
